Fazenda Filomena, specialised in fertilizer egg and animal feed manufacturing, received yesterday, 1, License and Certificate of Accession from Feito em Angola Service (SFA), for three of its production items, namely eggs, feed and, soon, hard chicken production.
A symbolic ceremony took place at Fazenda Filomena’s facilities, located in Panguila, Bengo province, and was honoured by INAPEM’s Chairman, João Nkosi, who delivered the documentation together with INAPEM’s Executive Director, Sheila Bandeira.
Fazenda Filomena also received its licence and respective certificate, for using the green stamp, regarding organic fertiliser production, resulting from environmental responsibility and organic material reuse.
Ana Maria, Commercial Director of this industrial unit, said in an interview that due to partnerships with INAPEM it was possible to receive funding within the scope of PRODESI, around 2.6 billion kwanzas, of a requested 5 billion.
Fazenda Filomena, operates with 450 workers, amongst them 425 Angolans and 25 foreigners, responsible for producing around 650,000 eggs per day. Its factory has capacity to house 82,000 birds, with maize, which is its main raw material, coming from Bié, Malanje and Huambo provinces.
