As part of the process of registering products and companies to adhere to Feito em Angola stamp, the National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, INAPEM, from 26 October to 15 November 2022, in the country’s 18 provinces, is running an intense campaign to mobilise and raise the awareness of businesspeople and companies, in order to encourage companies to adhere to Feito em Angola stamp in each province.
Within this scope, INAPEM’s technical teams will hold working meetings with the business class and support companies in the adhesion process, namely by clarifying the adhesion criteria/modalities, advantages/benefits, SFA concept, the Green Stamp, innovations, impact on national production and other matters.
Operationalised by the Ministry of Economy and Planning through INAPEM, the SFA is an instrument created by the Angolan government in 2012, designed to complement national production support programmes.
Since its creation, the SFA has gone through various stages, the most recent being its restructuring, which took place on 17 June under Presidential Decree no. 160/22, with emphasis on the incorporation of the QR code, which among others, allows the reading of descriptive data of the product, as well as the Green Stamp, created specifically for biodegradable products, focused on sustainable ecological solutions.
So far, since its relaunch in June, the SFA has issued 7 Feito em Angola service Licences and Accession Certificates, received 100 expressions of interest to join the service and registered 225 products from companies whose processes are in the assessment phase, for their approval and award of the respective stamps.
Among its main objectives, the SFA aims to strengthen the private business sector committed to increasing national production; promote products with more than 30% national content and stimulate competitiveness; improve product quality; and boost exports of national products with Feito em Angola stamp.
