This event, which was part of celebrations of 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations established between Angola and China last Saturday, occurred last Saturday, 14, in Luanda, at Kilamba Shopping, where an exhibition and services fair of products from both countries was held, and sought to bring together on a single platform, two economies’ development potential in commercial, technological, gastronomic and cultural areas.
This event, which was well attended by business communities from both sides and beyond, was attended by Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, Secretary of State for Cooperation, who opened it, having noted China’s role as a strategic partner of Angola, on several fronts, with a focus on establishing a new political and economic order, internationally.
In his turn, Gong Tao, China’s ambassador in Angola, who was also present at this event, said it was important to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation with Angola, given that our country continues to be one of China’s main geopolitical economic partners.
INAPEM took Feito em Angola Service to this fair
INAPEM, National Institute of Support for Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, also joined celebrations of 40 years of multilateral cooperation between Angolans and Chinese, participating in this event in order to promote access to Feito em Angola Service (SFA) among participating companies and visitors, providing all information about this institute’s services, namely in certification, technical assistance and consulting, formalisation of economic activity, training, facilitation of access to financing, and others.
INAPEM’s mission was led by Osvaldo Rasgado, responsible for promoting SFA, as well as technicians from this institution, who worked hard to mobilise and raise awareness among businesspeople and visitors attending this fair, distributing leaflets explaining Feito em Angola service, as well as access mechanisms to trigger membership and consequently obtaining its stamp.
It should be noted that economic cooperation and friendship between Angola and China began in 1983, and only got stronger in 2002, after the civil war ended, when China became a pioneer of economic revolution in Angola. Since then, several agreements have been signed, with direct impact in education, infrastructure, health, technology and agriculture.
