Measures to stimulate Angola’s economy will be implemented from 1 January 2024, emphasised His Excellency João Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic, in his opening speech at the 38th edition of Feira Internacional de Luanda (FILDA).

“…we recently announced a set of measures to stimulate national production, of which I would highlight mandatory inclusion of goods bearing “Feito em Angola” (Made in Angola) stamp in all public contracts that may be launched by government order…”

Preferential products include the following:

1. generic furniture for educational establishments and hospital units.

2. Construction materials, including finishing materials.

3. Uniforms, gowns and textile material, including for defence, public order, health and education bodies.
