Companies contemplated belong to the industrial sector, namely, Água Tchiowa, Menga-Engenharia and Tina-tours, the first two in the water supply business, and the last one, a producer of various hygienic materials, such as nappies and toilet paper. The three companies thus became the first in Cabinda to be able to use Feito em Angola stamp on their national products.
This achievement is a consequence of the work carried out by a group of INAPEM technicians, headed by the Executive Director of the Institute, Bráulio Augusto, who worked from 26 to 29 October, in the city of Cabinda, a four-day tour to the northernmost province of the country, under the scope of the campaign to expand Feito em Angola Service, which began last Tuesday of this month.
Also in this context, the delegation coordinated by Bráulio Augusto was received in an audience by the Governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa. The brief meeting dealt, among other matters, with the presentation of SFA to province’s highest authority, and the Governor made a commitment to fully support the initiatives of INAPEM that contribute to encouraging local companies to join SFA.
The work agenda of the INAPEM delegation allowed for a clarification meeting to be held with the local business community, as part of the promotion of SFA, where, among other issues, questions related to the operationalisation of the Credit Support Programme (PAC – Restructured) were also addressed.
At the end of the mission, in statements to the press, Bráulio Augusto made it known that “the work of sensitising the business class in that province will continue, in order to allow other companies to follow the path of adhesion”.
In the same statements, INAPEM’s manager also considered the visit to be positive, and reaffirmed that his institute “needs to have greater engagement in resolving the different constraints found in the exercise of its activities,” he concluded.
