The information was advanced yesterday, 27, by INAPEM’s PCA, João Nkosi, on the sidelines of a seminar on management of industrial waste, promoted by the management of the Viana Industrial Hub. João Nkosi said that this amount covered 21 funded projects, 19 of which are in Luanda alone, which are dedicated to the valorisation of the value chain of solid waste.
The senior manager of INAPEM spoke at a seminar on industrial waste management methodologies, on one of the panels dedicated to the presentation of Feito em Angola Service (SFA), focusing on the Green Stamp and its tax benefits for environmentally-friendly companies.
According to the official, “over the last four months, INAPEM has helped to prepare and submit to the banks 60 credit dossiers for solid waste projects, of which 21 were approved by INAPEM’s partners, particularly the Angolan Development Bank.
This role, he recalled, “will continue to guarantee that companies, cooperatives and young entrepreneurs are assisted in the area of financial and technical support”, so necessary to feed the survival of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises” and, consequently, “foment employment and stimulate the collection of revenues in favour of the State”, he concluded.
Companies in the sector urged to join the Green Stamp
At the seminar held at the PIV premises and attended by over 200 companies, INAPEM’s CEO emphasised the importance of companies operating in the manufacturing sector adhering to the SFA green stamp, so as to ensure environmental responsibility and sustainability in the green economy, as well as to take greater tax benefits from adhering.
Among other matters, João Nkosi explained to those present the membership criteria, the advantages/benefits of joining SFA and this service impact on national production.
The seminar on waste management also addressed the methodologies for environmental waste management and the new legal segments that support the licensing of activity with environmental impact.
