The head of INAPEM is carrying out from today until tomorrow, 4, in Bengo Province, an intense work day, which includes, among other activities, the presentation of the new Feito em Angola Service (SFA), under the scope of the campaign to expand this service that has been promoted by his institute throughout the country since 26 October, as well as carrying out field visits to potential SFA member companies.
On this first day of work in the lands of “Jacaré Bangão”, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – INAPEM, João Nkosi, was received on his arrival by Bengo’s Deputy Governor for the Economic sector, José Pedro, with whom he had a brief courtesy meeting.
The INAPEM Chairman’s day began at General Foguetão auditorium, in Dande municipality, where he met with economic operators from different sectors in the province, to present the new stamp of Feito em Angola Service.
At the meeting, INAPEM’s top manager highlighted some of the services that this institute will provide to all companies that join SFA, such as company certification under law 30/11, business formalisation, consulting and technical assistance, support in access to financing, capacity building and the methodologies for joining the Feito em Angola stamp, as well as tax benefits resulting from membership.
Restructured PAC disbursed around 2.5 billion kwanzas in funding for projects linked to companies and cooperatives in Bengo province
The restructured Credit Support Programme – PAC, was another issue addressed by the person in charge during the meeting with businesspeople. Concerns related to projects disbursed and not approved, access to this line of funding and surrounding bureaucracies, were some of the issues discussed with peers at the meeting.
At the moment, the manager said, the restructured PAC, in Bengo province, has 149 processes in its portfolio, of which 99 processes have already been sent to the Angolan Development Bank (BDA), of which 78 have been approved, and 58 disbursed.
In less than five months, he said, “Bengo province has seen around 2.5 billion kwanzas in project funding from several companies and cooperatives in the province,” he concluded.
The journey of the INAPEM Board of Directors to Bengo Province continues on Friday, 4 November, with visits to the projects of the productive sector in this jurisdiction, focusing on the companies that adhere to SFA.
